G-Shock x ALIFE - "Young America"

Alife zählt zu den einflussreichsten Brands der letzten 15 Jahre Streetweargeschichte. Der in New York City eröffnete Shop wurde schnell zum Sammelpunkt der lokalen Szene. Das daraus entstandene Label wurde weltweit unter Streetwearfans berühmt. Mit vielen Kollaborationen und progressiven Design bekräftigte das New Yorker Label seinen Status als Trendangeber über die Jahre und bewahrte sich dabei eine Underground Attitüde, die das Lebensgefühl des Big Apples in die Metropolen der Welt vermittelt.

Das Design der GD-X6900AL in Stars & Stripes ist vom amerikanischen Künstler Jasper Johns und seinen Bildern der Flagge aus den 50er Jahren inspiriert. Erkennbar wird das vor allem in der Farbgebung: die eigentlich strahlenden Farben der Flagge erscheinen wie von der Sonne und der Zeit gegilbt: ein Vintage-Look entsteht, der das Thema Amerikana stimmig in Szene setzt, ohne zu plakativ zu werden.

Puma Trinomic - R698 X STUCK UP X ALIFE

The next blasting Puma we want to introduce you from the latest Alife Collabo is the grey/black Puma R698 x Stuck Up x Alife. This pair is also inspired by something typical "Alife", in that case the Alife sticker pattern you can see everywhere in New Yor City. The R698 is highlighted with the sticker pattern printed on the midsole, red details and the purple lining. Again a must-have for each sneakerfreak!

PUMA - DISC X TRINOMIC X ALIFE

As you might know, Alife celebrate its 15th anniversary this year. So they collaborated with Puma to release a collection of apparel and footwear, including this stunning Puma Disc x Trinomic x Alife. Inspired by the famous Piranha tank they got in the hallway of the New York Flagship Store, Alife and Puma created a matching ultramarine sneaker with red details made of high-quality Sport-Mesh, Stretch-Fit Neopren and suede overlays. A sneaker so vivid you would think they came with a permanent Instagram filter!

Puma - Blaze Of Glory OG x Alife

Can't wait for the second stunning Puma x Alife Release next Saturday. Let me introduce you the first member of that great collabo, the Puma Blaze Of Glory OG x Alife.
The story behind that design are the routinely ALIFE "Sessions" in the courtyard of the Alife Rivington Club in New York City. The leather on the upper is an emulation of the texture leathers on the Marshall amps they had and the mesh represents the old amplifier. The blue, yellow and red highlights on the midsole represent the audio cables they had in there, and they were also the colours used on all the original Sessions shirts. Those colours give the BoG that extra to make him a stand out sneaker!
